Engineering Stores Controller / Maintenance Planner

Location: Chadwell Park farm, Great Chatwell, Newport, Shropshire
Employment: Permanent

This is a permanent position working days Monday to Friday. The position offers opportunities for both training and personal development. You will play a key role in conducting the Inventory work stream within the Asset Transformation Programme across the business.

key responsibilities will include:

Spare parts overhaul management (implementation of supporting systems and COSHH compliance)

Identification of obsolete stock

Evaluation of equipment parts capability and durability (jncluding the re-sourcing of spares to deliver cost savings)

Valuation of purchased parts

Liaison with Engineering projects to capture and cater for incoming parts requirements to ensure availability post commissioning

Rationalisation of existing stores stock holding without impacting on spares availability

Tracking stores requests and liaising with Engineering Technicians on stock requirements

Key Skills & Experience required

Experience of Managing Engineering Stores/ Stores Systems – stock control , computer based, and or operation of a computer based Maintenance PPM System / CMMS

Populate and update CMMS – Populate CMMS with the relevant stores information such as bins, locations and item details. (Pirana Shire)
